Some beaches to discover during a stay in Suances.
The most majestic of these, Playa de los Locos (Fools' Beach), is particularly popular with surfers of all levels and ages. Tagle beach is also a fine example of Cantabria's wild coastline, as is the small cove of Tablia, which is less frequented. A little further on, on the road leading to Santillana del Mar, a break will allow you to take a dip in the sea at the small beach of Santa Justa. You will be surprised by its natural beauty and by the hermitage embedded in the cliff.
