DIOCESAN MUSEUM REGINA COELI
A beautiful array of religious art in a diocesan museum near Revolgo Park in Santillana.
Installed in the Convent of the Poor Clares (17th century), near Revolgo Park, this diocesan museum offers a beautiful range of religious art with about 800 works, described as popular: interesting for this reason. In particular, the polychrome wooden statues (anonymous, from the 15th to the 17th century) recovered from the surrounding parishes. On the first floor, an amazing collection with a Saint Roch showing off his wounded thighs. Note the altarpiece El Diluvio by Daniel Ogier (21st century).
