STINK OF THE MAZA
A remarkable bridge in San Vicente, one of the emblematic monuments of the city.
It is one of the emblematic monuments of the town along with the castle and the church of Nuestra Señora de Los Ángeles. Its 26 or 28 arches are the subject of debate in the village. Once built of wood, it was consolidated in the 15th century with stones. This bridge is considered one of the largest of its time. Originally, it had 32 arches. Legend has it that if you cross the bridge without breathing, your wishes will be granted. With a length of over 500 metres, you will need to take a deep breath before you can meet this challenge!
