EL SOPLAO CAVE
A remarkable cave, a place of great geological interest, in San Vicente.
This cave was revealed at the beginning of the 20th century, at the end of the exploitation of the Florida mines. It was only opened to the public in 2005. Stalactites, stalagmites, but especially helicites with eccentric formations in phenomenal quantities, make this cave, 14 km long, a place of great geological interest. The route is 1.5 km long and offers a spectacular view of the splendidly coloured underground rocks and rivers. The more adventurous can opt for the caving route, which leads to less hospitable galleries.
