OLD CITY
Local family houses considered as the oldest in the district of Portiellu
By the street Infante, then Lopez Muñiz, you arrive in the district of Portiellu, whose houses of the great local families are the oldest in the city. Here you will see the 16th-century Prieto Cutre Palace, which now houses the Town Hall; the house of the Ardines family; the house of the Prieto-Collado family, which became the post office; the Atalaya Tower... Then, taking the Camino de Guia, you will reach the viewpoint and its chapel, from where a beautiful panorama unfolds. Finally, following the Paseo de la Grúa, panels explain, in Spanish, the Asturian mythology.
