In part, this tour requires hikers to be equipped and warned of the dangers of the mountain, as the routes can be difficult and even dangerous. Therefore, before embarking on the adventure, it is advisable to contact a local tourist office. There are many routes, almost all of them, which aim at the mythical Mount Naranjo de Bulnes (2,519 m), in the heart of the nature reserve. The main route connects the following stages: Espinama, Sotres, Bulnes, Naranjo de Bulnes and Fuente Dé.
