IGLESIAS DE SAN FROILÁN Y SAN PEDRO
The baroque church belonging to the old hospital of San Juan de Dios, the other gothic, with a cloister of Romanesque style
Located in the north of the casco not far from Puerta Falsa, of Roman origin, the church of San Froilán bears witness to the baroque of the 17th and 18th centuries. It once belonged to the former hospital of San Juan de Dios, which was destroyed by fire in 1878. The second, at the corner of Calle Ballesteros and Calle Teijeiro, belonged to the former Franciscan convent and is in Gothic style. Its cloister, in Romanesque style, is part of the Provincial Museum next door.
