MUSEO PROVINCIAL
Museum presenting collections of stone and slate sundials, archaeology, sacred art and contemporary art
A profusion of coats of arms and stone stelae are scattered around the cloister. Note, in one of the wings, a magnificent collection of stone and slate sundials (16th-18th centuries). A series of rooms also houses collections of archaeology, sacred art (with an expressive Saint-Salvador carved out of granite in the 12th century) and contemporary art from the region. A Franciscan convent is now part of the museum it adjoins, with a Gothic church (San Pedro) and a cloister, kitchen and refectory.
