With its baroque but delightful decor, this former 1873 casino has been transformed into a bar-restaurant, with a terrace overlooking one of Saint-Jacques' most strategic streets. We go there for a sandwich or a coffee between two visits. But also to savour a few pastries, including the famous tarta de santiago, at merienda (snack time). You'll enjoy a very calm atmosphere and comfortable armchairs. And on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, in the late afternoon, you'll be treated to musical accompaniment on the piano.

Très joli café du siècle dernier mais le "chocolate" espagnol, réputé très épais, ne l'était pas vraiment. J'ai donc été déçue, surtout pour le prix proposé, qui est en accord avec le style du café.
