MONASTERIO E IGLESIA DE SAN MARTIÑO PINARIO
After El Escorial, it is thesecond largest monastery in Spain. Its main facade, baroque, is 100 m long. Its church was founded in the 12th century, but the present building dates from the 17th century. Its sumptuous plateresque facade and its double-flight staircase are remarkable. Inside, you will be struck by the size of the single nave. Admire the beautiful coffered vault characteristic of the Byzantine style. The altarpiece of the high altar, designed by Casas y Novoa in 1730, is in the Churrigueresque style
