LA GALIPOTE

The galipote is a fabulous nocturnal animal. In French-speaking Canada, to run la galipote means to have sexual relations outside the sacred bonds of marriage. In Auvergne, La Galipote is a quarterly with a hundred pages of political, economic and environmental news, featuring authors such as Chraz, an Auvergnat humorist "made in France by foreigners" and a wacky comedian (which doesn't look good in Michelin country). This eco-minded canard is over twenty years old and is illustrated by a host of cartoonists.
