Famous rocky promontory in Fiisterra with a lighthouse and beautiful views
After enjoying sublime views of the coast, you have arrived at the end of the world, where the land gives way to the sea. From this rocky promontory where a lighthouse dating from the mid-19th century stands, magnificent views unfold. This is also the end of the journey of the Compostela pilgrims, most of whom have travelled several hundred kilometres. A ritual now forbidden, the tradition was for the pilgrims to burn some clothes and shoes as a sign of renewal. The site is famous for its fabulous sunsets.
