Hotel-convent with rooms-cells overlooking a cloister where a fountain sounds in A Guarda
A sublime way to get a place to stay. Sleep in the cell of a Benedictine monk as in 1561 (date of the foundation of the convent) or almost. The rooms and decoration have little to do with the Spartan comfort of the 16th century, but the old stones are still there. Some of the cell rooms overlook a cloister where a fountain sounds. Others overlook the sea or the outside. A soothing place that invites reflection.
