Bedspreads, sofa throws and other wall decorations. All of these products are produced by the village women of Duc Linh in northeast Saigon as part of a programme set up by the NGOs Viêt Nam Plus and Mekong Plus and are designed to create sustainable employment for disadvantaged women in remote and rural areas of Vietnam and Cambodia . All profits from the sales go to the workers and are reinvested for the benefit of rural communities located north-east of Ho Chi Minh City (school scholarships, health programmes, etc.).
