MUSEUM OF HISTORY OF HÔ CHI MINH CITY
Built in the days of French Indochina, this museum presents the country's history and exhibits objects from Vietnam and Asia.
This museum, opened in 1929 by the Société des études indochinoises, has two shortcomings: a lack of chronology in its displays and the presence of too many copies (the originals are in the hands of collectors). However, it is well worth a visit. It covers the history of the country, exhibits objects from Vietnam and Asian countries, and presents the vestiges of the different civilizations that made Vietnam's history (sculptures, bronze objects).
