ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH
Go there and contact
This church, initially, belonged to the hospitals of Saint John in Jerusalem. The building consists of a nave of two arched spans of warheads. The veins fall on Romanesque-style capitals. The main entrance is made by a th century portal, trilobé, very rare in the region. It has one of the largest ensembles of th century frescoes, as well as the churches of Billom, Montfermy or Clermont. From these paintings, there is a very strong influence of the enluminure of Ile-de-France, tinged with a certain italianisme. The lives of Saint John-Baptiste and Saint Blaise are mentioned.
