This house, built between 1870 and 1911, has five tiled bays.
Built between 1870 and 1911, the house has been preserved over the generations by the Duong family. In the heart of a vast garden full of orchids, its architecture borrows from both Eastern and Western cultures. It has five bays covered with tiles. In the central bay, the altar of the ancestors. The columns are made of lim wood (iron wood). Rare and precious objects. It was used as a set for some scenes in the film The Lover, the adaptation of the novel by Marguerite Duras.
