Les Amis de Saint Jacques is a cultural association founded in 1993 by former pilgrims. It now has 1,660 members in 8 departmental delegations. The association's vocation is to welcome candidates for the Compostela pilgrimage and provide them with the necessary information and Crédential. It organizes information sessions in the 8 départements where it is present. Les Amis de Saint Jacques also offers guidebooks for the various routes to Compostela, as well as ongoing activities such as prisoner reception, hospitality, heritage preservation, etc.
