HANG PAGODA (OF THE CAVE)
A visit to this pagoda offers a lovely panoramic view of the rice paddies.
Also known as Phuoc Dien Tu, it lies halfway up the western flank of the mountain (Mont Sam). The monastery and two tombs, including that of Le Thi Tho, who founded this pagoda to lead a life devoted to meditation, precede the main sanctuary, which contains statues of the Buddha A Di Da (of the past) and the Buddha Thich Ca (Sakkyamuni). The second shrine is dedicated to Quân Am, Goddess of Mercy. A beautiful panorama of rice paddies awaits your visit.
