Tomb on a platform, surrounded by the tombs of high dignitaries and other mandarins
The mausoleum faces the temple of the goddess Xu. The high mandarin Thoai Ngoc Hau (1761-1829), revered in the pagoda in the center of Châu Dôc, had the Vinh Tê canal built. On a platform, surrounded by the tombs of high dignitaries and other mandarins, stands the tomb of Thoai Ngoc Hau and his wives. The steps leading up to the tomb are carved from a special red stone, called da ong in Vietnamese. Worth seeing.
