Floating houses made from huge metal cans on the banks of the canal
Not very aesthetically appealing, the floating houses are made of wood and float on huge metal drums. They can be found on the banks of the canal. Their inhabitants raise fish by hanging cages (metal nets under the floor). Catfish play an important role in Vietnamese exports. They are mainly farmed in An Giang province, in the Mekong delta. This activity provides a livelihood for a large number of families. A tourist destination with peaceful charm.

Lors d'une ballade en bateaux sur le mekong on peut apercevoir des maisons flottantes amarrée sur où sur pilotis avec souvent sous la maison une ferme pisciculture.
A walk along the river allows you to see the life of the people who live on the water and do all that we on the ground make using water: crockery, linen, bathroom, WC, fish farm under their house, market, etc.
