Vietnam Airlines operates daily flights to Ho Chi Minh City (45 minutes). During the Vietnam War, this airport was a military airport. It was managed by the United States Army and South Vietnam. There are two 1,500 m concrete runways on site which can accommodate ATR-72 type models. Note: the total surface area of the terminal is 1,900 m². In 2005, approximately 35,000 passengers were welcomed on the premises. It is the closest airport to the city of Rach Gia. In particular, it is served from Ho Chi Minh City Airport.
