HON CHONG HEADLAND
Tourist promontory a few hundred metres from the Po Nagar temple, crowded with souvenir and drinks vendors.
Where the mountain meets the sea... North of the city, on the other side of the Cai River crossed by the Trân Phu bridge. The panorama on the turquoise blue waters is magnificent. The islands, the nearby hill, the magic mountain dear to fishermen in the distance ... Hon Chong - a pile of rocks - has its legend, that of a giant in love with a mermaid. He is said to have left a gigantic footprint at the extreme tip of the promontory. A crowd of vendors selling souvenirs and beverages populates this promontory, which is definitely a tourist attraction.
