The Hung Thanh towers, made of red brick and restored many times, were built between the end of the and centuries
The Hung Thanh towers, built of red brick and repeatedly restored, were built between the late 12th and 13th centuries. The sanctuary, dedicated principally to the Hindu god Vishnu, originally included a third tower, which collapsed in the 19thcentury . The architectural and ornamental elements are influenced by Khmer models. The ridges of the pyramidal roofs, an original shape in Cham country, were originally carved with mythological birds (Garuda, Vishnu's mount), which can still be seen today.
