The Banh It temple complex is one of the finest testimonies to the golden age of the Cham kingdom in the region.

In Tuy Phuoc district, 25 km from Quy Nhon, at the top of a hill offering panoramic views over the region, are the four great towers of Banh It, built in the 11th century. The highest tower, the kalan, also known as the Silver Tower, is 22 m high. Richly decorated, it once housed a superb pink sandstone statue of Shiva, now preserved in the Guimet Museum in Paris. The Banh It complex is the finest testimony to the Cham golden age in the region.
