This communal house, founded in 1741, hosts events for all Chinese, regardless of their native region.
Founded in 1741. Some sources date its foundation as far back as the 15thcentury . In any case, it's one of the city's oldest residences. Unlike other communal houses, this one welcomes events from all Chinese, regardless of native region. The entrance hall features magnificent panels carved with plant and mythological animal decorations. The temple is dedicated to Thien Hau, goddess of the sea and protector of sailors.
