A cathedral whose stained glass windows were miraculously spared by the tons of bombs that were dropped on the city.
This Gothic style cathedral was built in 1923 by a French priest. Nicknamed Con Gà (the church of the rooster), its particularity is its pale pink colour. The stained glass windows were miraculously spared by the tons of bombs that were dumped on the city. Next door is the convent of Saint Paul of Chartres (47, Yên Bai), whose community of nuns sells embroidery, providing work for Vietnamese girls in difficulty.
