Restaurant opened in 2012. On the north bank of the Perfume River, within the Citadel, the villa is based on the plans of a colonial era building. A very pleasant setting and atmosphere for a restaurant that honors both French and Vietnamese gastronomy. Prefer the Vietnamese option, with very successful classics... Also, bar and ice cream parlour. The establishment is very popular and has become an institution.

C'est pas mal! On y mange plutôt bien pour un prix très raisonnable. Bien sûr, il y a des touristes et ils sont bruyants mais dans le centre de Hué, on ne trouvera pas mieux!

Better than its big brother, the carambola. The cuisine is of quality, but you have the impression of being in Paris or in another capital so there is expat. Too bad. You should go at noon to have less tourist.

It is undoubtedly the best restaurant Hua, frequented by all the expats!
This charming restaurant is run by an adorable franco-japanese couple Vietnamese: Christian and ha. They will welcome you at the house and cook and you excellent authentic Vietnamese dishes and very good French food (even if you are looking for the scenery when you travel, times you want a good-natured pepper steak!). The waitresses in this restaurant are lovely and efficient.
I lived six months hua and I can guarantee that I tried many restaurants: La Carambole and its staff had and always have a special place in my heart as soon as I return Hue, I will visit them with a huge pleasure.
