A festival that showcases the ancient imperial city and its history, with the participation of artists from all over the world.
Created in 2000 on the initiative of the People's Committee of Thua Thiên Huê province, the Association française d'action artistique - now Culturesfrance - and the French Embassy, the Huê Festival takes place every two years. Over the years, this biennial has become a major cultural event in Vietnam. The 13thedition will be held in 2024 and is, according to the province's People's Committee, artistic, community-based and ecological.
