Museum featuring the most representative works of art and handicrafts from centuries past in Vietnam.
Founded in 1923, the museum brings together the works of art and crafts most representative of life in Vietnam in previous centuries. Part of the collection belonged to the emperors Gia Long, Minh Mang and Bao Dai. Today, the museum has a collection of more than 10,000 pieces relating to the life of the Nguyên dynasty from 1802 to 1945. Of particular note is the collection of embroidered textiles and clothing, evidence of refined craftsmanship.
