LAM KINH HISTORIC SITE
A site featuring the remains of the tombs of the dynasty's kings, as well as the temple and tombstone of Lê Loi.
It is the birthplace of Le Loi, a national hero who, in the 15th century, drove out the Chinese invaders before becoming Emperor Le Thai Tô. We will see the remains of the tombs of the kings of the later Le dynasty (1428-1788) as well as the temple and the tombstone of Le Loi (emperor Le Thai Tô, 1428-1433). Also the Vinh Lang stele, the largest of the ancient Vietnamese steles and which keeps, engraved forever in its stone heart, the exploits of King Le Loi.
