Communal house built by the first inhabitants of rue Hang Bac, who specialized in smelting silver ingots.
This communal house(dinh) was built by the first inhabitants of Hàng Bac street, originally from the village of Trâu Khê (Hai Duong province), who specialized in casting silver ingots, in honour of the legendary founder of the trade, Hiên Viên. In 2004, the capital's authorities decided to restore this historic building. Today, the dinh is once again a place of worship and conviviality for local residents.
