CERAMIC PATH
Colorful ceramic motifs evoking millennia of Vietnamese history conceal the concrete of the Yên Phu dike.
Colorful ceramic motifs evoking millennia of Vietnamese history conceal the concrete of the Yên Phu dike. The project was the brainchild of Nguyên Thu Thuy, a young journalist who had the idea of contributing to the celebration of the Vietnamese capital's millennium in 2010, by honoring the high tradition of ceramics carried on in particular by craftsmen from the village of Bat Tràng on the banks of the Red River. The project met with the approval of the city's councillors, and the Yên Phu fresco inaugurated the project in early 2008.
