BOTANICAL GARDEN HANOI - BACH THAO PARK
This garden, behind the presidential palace, is rich in plant species, some of which have been imported from Europe and Africa.
Created in 1890 by the French, this garden is rich in plant species(bach thao means "hundred plants"), some of which were imported from Europe or Africa. In the middle of the park is a mound where a black-skinned man is honored as the tutelary genius of the two neighboring flower villages. There are relatively few green spaces where it is possible to stroll in Hanoi, and, in the evening, the garden is taken by storm by couples in love, happy to find a semblance of privacy.
