WHITE SILK LAKE (IVORY BAMBOO LAKE)
A lake separated from Lac de l'Ouest by the Cô Ngu dike, bordered by flamboyant trees whose blossoms color the banks in blood-red hues.
Bordered by magnificent flamboyant flowers whose spring blooms colour the banks with blood-red tones. In the past, there was only one lake, but the construction of the Cô Ngu dike in the 17th century separated the West Lake from the White Silk Lake. Here was once a palace where the abandoned concubines stayed. They wove white silk, hence the name of the lake. The Thanh Niên (Youth) dam that separates the two lakes is also called the Road of Love.
