OLD HOUSE MA MAY
A house built in the late century with the traditional features of the tube houses of the merchant town.
Built at the end of the 19th century, the house has the traditional characteristics of the tube houses of the market town: alternating courtyards and buildings, natural light and ventilation. Ma Mây Street was at the centre of the commercial activities of a busy river port, at the junction of the Tô Lich River and the Red River. Restored in the year 2000, notably thanks to a partnership with the Toulouse town hall, it now makes it possible to raise awareness among the population and foreign visitors of Hanoi's architectural heritage.
