Viscomtat is a small village located 10 kilometers from Thiers, in the Livradois Forez regional park. It's home to SAS Coutellerie d'Art Dubost Olivier, a family-run cutlery business that has been perpetuating tradition since 1900. Olivier and Maurice, father and son, work together to produce quality knives. As members of the Confrérie du Couteau de Thiers, they respect the quality and professional ethics of the "Le Thiers" brand. Their workshop is open all year round by reservation, and you can also visit their store in Viscomtat. They offer a wide range of knives, from pocket models to table knives. They also carry out restorations of antique pieces and offer a customization service.
