TEMPLE (DINH) OF HÀNG
Temple housing numerous statues: the goddess Quân Am, in the guardians' garden, Buddhas and female deities.
The foundation of the pagoda is said to date back to the 10th-11th centuries, under the Le dynasty, and it is said that Emperor Trân Nhân Tông (1258-1308) liked to come and preach there. The pagoda has been rebuilt many times and the present building dates back to the 17th century (Ly dynasty). The pagoda was built by a monk, a former officer of the Imperial Guard. It was renovated in 1899 with a new bell tower. There are many statues: Quân Am, in the garden of the guardians, Buddhas and female deities, as well as richly decorated antique furniture.
