This mountain offers a 1,000-step ascent to a splendid panorama.
It offers the possibility of a beautiful ascent (1,000 steps) at the end of which a splendid panorama unfolds. The mountain also hides caves used by the Viet Minh guerrillas during the Indochina war. At the foot of the mountain, the cave of the Water Genius shelters the cult of Lê Chan, a woman who was a general in the army of the two Trung sisters (Hai Bà Trung). Le Chan is honored as the founder of the village of An Bien which will become the city of Haiphong.
