A small, friendly hotel with a magnificent view of the rice paddies and mountains surrounding the Mai Châu valley.
Small hotel opened in September 2013 by Mr. Duong (pronounced Dzuong) and his wife, both from the white tay ethnic group. Beautifully decorated, with magnificent views over the rice paddies and mountains that surround the valley. The place also doubles as a restaurant. The menu is negotiated directly with the owner, based on seasonal produce. Mr. Duong speaks excellent English and knows the area like the back of his hand. He can advise you on excursions and arrange bike or motorcycle hire.
