Special carriages are added to the train while remaining inaccessible to other passengers. The sleeping car, in the old-fashioned luxury but full of 1960s charm, has compartments for two. You sleep like a prince and discover in the morning, still in the white sheets, the marvellous spectacle of desert Africa. Fine dinners served in the restaurant car. Departures every Thursday and Sunday from Jo'burg, and Tuesday and Saturday from Cape Town. Other destinations: Hoedspruit next to the Kruger, departing Thursday, and Durban, departing Tuesday and Friday.

Un extraordinaire retour dans les années 60 à bord de ce train, au luxe suranné, à un rythme de voyage si agréable ! (27 h entre Cape town et Jo'Burg). La nourriture est correcte, sans plus. On dort parfaitement dans les compartiments pour 2, et la douche est spacieuse. Bref, que du plaisir en toute sécurité, et à moindre coût qu'avec les deux autres trains de luxe (Bleu et Rovos).
