Single-storey house on Church Street where the famous former South African president Paul Kruger lived.

It was in this single-storey house on Church Street in central Pretoria that the famous former South African President Paul Kruger lived. The man who gave his name to the famous park lived and worked here until his trip to Europe in 1900, from where he never returned. Among other things, the museum retraces the adventures of his journey to France: an arrival in Marseille on 22 November 1900, a triumphant reception in Avignon the following day, which reflects the support of part of French opinion for the "heroic Transvaalian people"
