Have we ever seen anything so grandiose? Imagine a room with a fountain at its centre, made up of four three-metre-high elephants spitting water through their trunks, bronze monkeys holding the wall lights and, twenty-nine metres higher up, hanging as a chandelier, bronze palms diffusing the light of thousands of shards of rock crystal. The show is in the hall... and also on the plate!
