On site, everything you need: mini-market, petrol station, vending machine and swimming pool, but no overcrowding as in Skukuza. Orpen has the advantage of being well located, next to the Orpen Gate, near the private luxury reserves Timbavati and Manyeleti. Animals roam freely, and the surrounding forest is full of lions, cheetahs, hyenas, but also rhinos, elephants, buffaloes... and antelopes, of course. Small budgets: to see the Big 5 with your own car, try the satellite camps of Orpen in the bush: Tamboti or Maroel, cheaper and wilder.

Comme il est plus haut dans le parc, les animaux sont différents de la partie sud (zébres plus visibles, Secretary bird, autruches...)
