We were warmly welcomed at the Rhino Post Safari Lodge and 4 days later bid farewell like friends. Our stay at the lodge was wonderful. The team is warm, friendly and helpful and there is a very welcoming, almost family-like atmosphere at the lodge.
The guest houses are well & nicely equipped and practical little things, such as warming rain ponchos (which we often needed), were also been thought of. There are coffee and tea making facilities in the guest houses, mosquito spray, umbrellas, minibar, bathtub, mosquito net, water from tap, with gas and/or chilled is always available ... we didn’t miss anything!
Our dinners were very tasty. You can choose from 3 different dishes – with always one vegetarian option. Dinners are served in game drive groups and the guide also attends, which gives the day a nice roundup.
And of course, the location of the Rhino Post Safari Lodge in the middle of the Kruger National Park, is outstanding. The beauty and special features of nature appear inexhaustible.
Thanks to Privy, our guide, we saw a lot of different animals and learned a lot! She is a great guide, she explained so much to us and answered every question. Every game drive was different and a highlight! Privy listened to our wishes, but also took our worries and concerns into account on every safari drive. I always felt save with her as our “team chef”! We couldn't have wished for a better guide!
Our entire stay at Rhino Post was great! A big THANK YOU to the whole team for the work you do and your warmth! We enjoyed being your guests, it was an unforgettable time!

Gerne wieder!!

An exclusive and extraordinary camp. Intimate with attentive staff. Gorgeous walks every day and never saw another car or other people - it was fabulous! Proper disconnect from the world. And William made sure we were never hungry!

We LOVED our stay here! The guides are all so friendly and nice, not only did we learn a lot from them but it felt like being on safari with a friend. This is such a special place to be able to stay inside Kruger NP with fantastic sightings and incredible service!

We stayed at the Rhino Post Lodge for 5 days and 4 nights! It was a lovely experience! We had a morning and afternoon game drive and our guide James was as excited to find animals as we were! He was very informative and went out of his way to take us to different areas of the park. That was the nice thing about going on so many drives......he was able to take us to far flung areas to enrich our experience! The staff is so friendly and the food is fantastic! Now remember you are in the bush so there is no air conditioning in the lodges, but we found that it was fine as long as we had the fans on! They constructed a watering hole in the river bed, so all sorts of animals would wander into the camp to find water and we could watch them from the dining area as we rested between game drives!

This was our first safari for our honeymoon and it was everything and more than what we expected! We spent a two days in plains camp where we did the walking safari with Yan. He was amazing, was so knowledgeable and made us feel very safe walking in the bush. Then we had 2 nights in Rhino post with James, as amazing and drove us to one of the best sunset views of our trip. The lodge was comfortable and the staff super friendly and attentive to us.

Awesome time with our guide James, managed to find a pack of wild dogs with some hyenas mixed up among them. Rooms were also really nice. Really enjoyed our time here.

But if you are looking for a place that feels like home, where you and your safari experience always remain in the center, then Rhino Post is the perfect place for you. How? See details below ...
Safari: Amend was our enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. Having grown up in the area, he could explain not only the animals in detail, but also the smaller flora and fauna as well. Both adults and kids had a great time filling out the provided checklist of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and plants. Amend also had unbelievable and incredible spotting abilities - not only could he identify leopards hiding in trees over 100m away, he also spotted a chameleon in the dark while he was driving!
Accommodations: The rooms are built in a rustic style with plenty of space and comfort. Each is a separate building providing privacy, but also proximity to nature, as elephants often passed by our terrace while monkeys played in trees above our roof.
Dining & Service: Food was fantastic and served in generous portions. Tables were arranged so that you could dine & converse with other guests as well as guides to discuss what you had just seen on safari. All staff were courteous and very responsive to our needs. My wife also took advantage of the great massage service.
All in all, we would highly recommend Rhino Post to anyone looking for a memorable safari experience.
