LOWVELD NATIONAL BOTANICAL GARDENS
This garden is said to represent the largest concentration of cycas on the continent and an example of Central Africa's primary forest.
We find here a concentrate of all the flora of the region. According to the management of the botanical garden, it represents on 158 ha the largest concentration of cycas of the continent and an example of primary forest of Central Africa. The Crocodile River Trail can be walked in about two hours. After 4 km on the R40 northwards, opposite the junction to Sabie, you can stop at a café which also offers snacks, which is very pleasant.
