HOEDSPRUIT ENDANGERED SPECIES CENTRE (HESC)
A visit to this center is a reminder of the importance of preserving wildlife and an opportunity to meet its resident animals.
In the Kapama Reserve, this centre is concerned about the conservation of endangered animals. Opened since 1990, the original focus was on the cheetah, but the centre now houses other vulnerable and rare animal species, mostly rhinos that have been orphaned or have fallen victim to poaching. A visit to the facility is a reminder of the importance of preserving wildlife, and provides an opportunity to meet its resident animals. A place full of emotions!
