OCHSENSTALL
A place to immerse yourself in the history and mysterious symbols of the Ochsenstall rocks in Sparsbach.
By translation, Ochsenstall means "oxen rock", perhaps because cowherds used to stop in the rock cavities to rest. The walls are engraved with numerous inscriptions and other esoteric symbols. These mysterious rocks, altars and boulders are believed to have been frequented for centuries, but there is a lack of documentation. Nonetheless, it's a great place to take a stroll, for the amusement of children and Indiana Jones fans alike. If so, let us know!
