Robert Moffat and his wife, both arrived from Scotland, worked for fifty years in these buildings. Dr. Moffat was the first to write and print the Bible in Tswana language. We visit a mission that is always active, with beautiful wooden furniture sometimes placed on a dried ground. The gardens invite to the dream, because it is here that explorer David Livingstone put to Mary, the daughter of Moffat, whom he married in the church on site.
