The Boegoeberg dam is a gravity dam located on the Orange River, near Prieska, in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. Construction began in 1926 and was completed in 1933. The dam is named after the small Croton gratissimus tree, also known as Bergboegoe. With a height of 11 meters, it covers an area of 742 hectares. It offers visitors the chance to enjoy the region's natural beauty and a variety of outdoor activities.
